This tour was one of my favorites while in Dublin. Neil our guide was very entertaining and knowledgeable. He engaged with everyone in the tour like we were old friends. Her sang at the statue of Milly Malone. Shows us shops we would t normally find on our own. The book of Kells and the library were awe inspiring. Truly would do the tour again.

I really enjoyed the tour with John. He was extremely knowledgeable and you could tell he enjoyed sharing the information with the tour. I had studied up on the Book of Kells and Irish history in general before my very short trip to Ireland, so the walk around Dublin Castle and then seeing the Book and library brought that history to life.

engaging and informative, sprinkled with humor and personality, plus a touch of macabre, the tour with Frankie was a great introduction to the “Black Pool” (aka Dublin)

The Trinity College library was awesome. However what I will remember most will be the stories about Irish history and culture provided by our wonderful tour guide, Neil. He vastly enhanced my experience with his anecdotes. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

Other Irish Castles

Ireland is a country of castles, plenty of which you can visit from Dublin and beyond. Don't miss Blarney Castle, site of the famed Blarney Stone which is said to grant those who kiss it the gift of the gab. Then there's the regal Cahir Castle in Tipperary; Kilkenny Castle with it ornamental gardens; and Trim Castle, which you might have seen in Braveheart.
