Weymouth SEA LIFE® Adventure Park Tours and Activities

Weymouth SEA LIFE® Adventure Park
Unique among SEA LIFE® centers due to its mix of tank and outdoor exhibits, Weymouth SEA LIFE Adventure Park encapsulates the global diversity of water-based life. From sharks to fairy penguins, sea turtles to otters, more than 1,000 species live in the 14-acre park, where you’ll also find play areas, cafés, and a mini-golf course.

The Basics
Set aside a few hours to explore the park, and book tickets in advance to bypass long lines and secure the best deals. Inside, enjoy a hands-on experience at the rock pool, listen to educational talks during feeding times, or let the kids run free in the splash pool or playground while you unwind with a coffee. Inclusive packages allow you to combine SEA LIFE Weymouth with other family-friendly attractions at no additional cost.

Things to Know Before You Go
  • Weymouth SEA LIFE Adventure Park is a must for families and animal lovers.
  • The park is accessible to wheelchairs.
  • Strollers are welcome and can be parked at any of the on-site stations.
  • There are three cafés in the park.

How to Get There

Weymouth SEA LIFE Adventure Park is about a 25-minute walk from Weymouth Station, or a 15-minute ride on bus 4 or 503. The SEA LIFE Express land train connects the SEA LIFE park to the Jurassic Skyline tower on the other end of the promenade. If you’re arriving by car on the A354, take advantage of park-and-ride services to avoid town traffic, or park in the Lodmoor Country lot for a fee.

When to Get There
A top choice for family days out and school parties, SEA LIFE Weymouth can get busy during peak season. The park is open daily from 10am to 5pm. For fewer crowds, visit on a weekday during late fall or early winter. Each day, the animal care team delivers several feeding-time talks—check the schedule.

The Wonders of Weymouth Waterfront

From a Victorian fortress to a panoramic tower, there’s plenty more to see and do along Weymouth’s beachfront. The Nothe Fort open-air museum provides immersive insight into British naval defense, while Jurassic Skyline offers sweeping views of Dorset’s historic coast. You can also take a relaxing stroll through the award-winning Greenhill Gardens, or simply sunbathe on the golden sands of Weymouth Beach.
