Excellent, knowledgeable guide

I was so pleased that I booked a trip to Auschwitz through a company. All the hard work was taken care of for me; as a solo traveller, this was great. The tour guide who showed us around was extremely knowledgeable and passionate on all subjects relating to Auschwitz. I was thoroughly impressed with all the information she taught me. The only thing I would say is that the meeting point isn’t very clear- I was actually stood in the wrong place. When you receive your confirmation email, it just gives you the address but no specific details about which building to stand outside of or what vehicle you are looking for. This is the only thing I think could've improved my experience. Other than that, I would highly recommend this tour.

Auschwitz 1 & Auschwitz-Berkenau

It’s a deeply moving experience that will stay planted in my heart. I will never forget. It’s one thing to see history movies, books but it’s another to be there in person. You see and learn things that are left out in books and videos. The young lass who was the tour guide was perfect. It’s not for the faint hearted

A visit you should make in your life

There was nothing particular...it was the experience as a whole which I appreciated. Unfortunately, as there were so many groups, we were herded through the exhibits like cattle, with barely a few seconds to read and information or take a photograph or two.

A memorable tour to Auschwitz. Having a guide was invaluable

My daughter (aged 15) and I had a truly memorable day at Aushvwitz and Birkenau. The content is understandably harrowing and sobering but it is told in a very respectful and moving way. Our guide was excellent, spoke perfect English and was open to answering our many questions. The whole Viator experience was faultless. I would thoroughly recommend it and it is definitely worth visiting these two sites with a guide.

Not easy, but a must

A must do when visiting Kraków. Long journey out and back, but well worth it. Very knowledgeable guide. Don't forget your ID or your tissues. You are on your feet and walking for a long time, so it is quite tiring. Bring snacks with you.
