This was my second time visiting the city. This tour was a great way to see things and hear stories I missed the first time around. Would recommend for families.

I really liked when she told us about a man turning a whole apartment complex into his own house. It looked so nice and cool when we glanced inside. The tour was really fun and informative. We went back to a couple of the places during the rest of our trip. Libby is the best tour guide I've ever had. Thank you!

French Quarter Tour

We took a late morning tour with Josh. He was excellent, very cognizant of the heat and did well to keep the group in the shade as much as possible. When the tour began he asked the group what topics they wanted to hear about most (food, ghosts, architecture, Katrina). During the tour he did an outstanding job answering all the questions we had and was very knowledgeable about the city and it’s history. Josh had great recommendations on attractions, where to eat, get sweet snacks, and good bars to visit. Highly recommend taking this tour for a lively stroll through the French Quarter.

Renee was a great guide. She sent a message before the tour telling us exactly where to meet. She knows so much NOLA history and kept the group engaged. She even the rain didn’t stop her from making it a great experience.

Rainy day Renee! She has had more than her fair share of soaked tours this summer, but she always delivers a fun and memorable learning experience for her guests. I’m happy that you, too, rallied in the downpour and I appreciate this great review! Please come tour with us again another (drier) day! Libby

Great tour guide

Our tour guide, Carmel, had amazing enthusiasm which was highly contagious. It was clear that she was passionate about New Orleans’ history and stories. Walking through the French Quarter is not the same as actually knowing the history behind the buildings and people that made it what it is today, making the tour truly worth every penny and every minute.

Thank you for taking the time to review your French Quarter tour with Carmel! We know that vacation time is valuable, so we appreciate it when our guests stop a minute to tell the world what they thought about our tours. We do have the best guests, and it is because of reviews like this! I agree that Carmel’s sweetness and enthusiasm make her so much fun to be around, and she is constantly learning more about this place she loves. And yes, the French Quarter can be admired by anyone, but to truly appreciate its richness, you need to walk around with a knowledgeable local. Thanks for allowing Lucky Bean to show you this special place, and please come walk with us again! Libby
