  • Important: One of the following documents must be presented at the entrance to the museum for Russian citizens: 1) QR code confirming the fact of vaccination; 2) QR code confirming the fact of a previous illness; 3) The document confirming the fact of medical contraindications for vaccination (presented together with a negative PCR test).

    We had very good experience with the purchase. We had a very late booking and worried the 48-hour confirmation as mentioned would be too long. And to ournice surprise our booking was confirmed in less than 12 hours with a very smooth entry. Just print out the tickets with Bar code and enter at the designated entrance for internet booking. That is it. Very easy!

    we found the correct entrance to the site, back of a long queue others with the same ticket. it might be better to take a guide there is no direction inside you stagger from room to room and must be easy to miss rooms. you also have to contend with the asians and their elbows. it was busy.

    tried contacting company before i left about ticket bar code not coming through just kept sending a link for ticket but didn't have bar code ,after long wait in heavy rain for entry the hermitage refused entry due to wrong ticket , i ended up having to go back out into another queue to purchase tickets then line up again for entry was total wasted day im beyond angry with viator they didn't help before trip still i paid for there two day ticket which wasn't valid so had to pay again in cash ,they took my money but no ticket ,this is disgraceful a total waste of money i wont be using incompetent company again and no doubt ive lost my 58 pound ,lying nicely in there little pockets ,i will be looking into this further though

    I bought two tickets a week before our trip and got several emails asking me to print but also stating that it wasn't the ticket. I concluded that I had to collect the tickets from the museum with a printout of the email but this wasn't the case. We went to the museum who told us (after a lengthy queue) that they weren't tickets that we were in effect "conned" and that we should buy tickets from them. Needless to say we didn't do this but instead spoke to the local contact who then sent me the correct tickets to my mobile. I am not sure why this wasn't done in the first place and it would have avoided a lot of wasted precious holiday time. Day 2 we went back and were able to scan the tickets but also noted had we bought tickets at the booth it would have been just as quick and also half the price. My advice is to go to the museum early before they open and buy tickets on the day from the machine.

    Die Karten haben wir reibungslos bekommen. Besuch in Eremitage war wunderbar, ohne Wartezeiten, drin war auch sehr angenehm und nicht überfüllt. Das Museum ist sehr groß und die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

    Dank vorzeitigem Ticketkauf kein Eintritt durch Haupteingang, sondern rechts in der Gasse. Kein Warten, unkomplizierte Garderobe und separates Kaffee (wo nicht gedrängt wird) sorgten für entspannten Genuss. Achtung: Impressionisten nicht mehr im Winterpalais, sondern am Schlossplatz gegenüber. Jetzt viel mehr Platz. Wunderbar
